  • It was my birthday weekend and I was craving a cheese steak. I've never been to Philly but my friend said go to Pop's, it's as close to it as you can get. I showed up and I love the look. It is open 24 hours and has out door seating with a covering and ceiling fans to keep air circulating. I got me a classic steak, Swiss cheese, mushroom, and bell pepper sandwich. Bread was so soft how I like and beef made my mouth water more. Fresh mushroom and bell pepper all combined well. Also had chili cheese fries. It was a thin chili and fries were cooked the right amount of crispness. They were tasty but messy. Extra napkins are a must. I've never been to Philly but I'll be back to Pop's that's for sure. You never know who you'll run into. One guy was from San Diego and another from Philly. We all were craving a cheese steak.
