  • So when I go to Total Wine and seek out better Pinot's than they have stocked on their extensive inventoried shelves, their staff always refer me to Khoury's Fine Wine & Spirits in Henderson. I think this is funny, but also really speaks volumes about Khoury's reputation. I live in Summerlin and nowhere close to Khoury's, but find myself wandering down to Henderson to visit this store because of their unique varietals of Pinot that I cannot find in the football fields of inventory of Total Wine. I have discovered some gems from their unique, smaller inventory. It is a beer and wine shop, but also a beer and wine bar in a way. The staff really are welcoming, the wine and beer selections are easy to wonder about and explore and the staff are helpful to guide you to whatever you might be looking for. Prices are good for the quality and variety. The feeling of the place is not large, but casual and laid back, all while having glasses and seats to sit and enjoy wine and beer. As a bonus, I love their indoor/outdoor seating area to try out beer and wine. Some friends of mine and I once even took an Uber down to Khoury's from Summerlin, bought several bottles of Pinot and ordered a pizza from the Italian restaurant that shares the parking lot for a fun evening exploring wine amongst friends. Khoury's welcomed us and was a great backdrop unheard of for us to do such a thing in the valley. I am a loyal fan of Khoury's, I just wish there was a westside option.
