  • I normally don't write reviews, but my experience here at the Plaza Hotel has been one of the worst experiences I have had in a long time. When we checked in, we explicitly asked the desk clerk to make sure that we wouldn't have any issues with staying in the room since we had book both nights separately. I also asked him to make sure my wife's name was on the room so if we had problems with the key she could get a new one without hunting me down. Well, both didn't happen and on June 4th we were asked if we needed a late check-out, so the bookings were not taken care of. Then my wife tries going to the room and the key didn't work. We'll the front desk first tried to tell her to wait in line with everyone else checking-in and that would of been an hour+ since the line was 30+ people deep. The manager was rude to her and by the time my friends found me, they were extremely upset over the lack of guest service. She did apologize to me and comped the resort fees. This all could of been avoided if a little respect was given to my wife. We had also mentioned to the manager that the hotel smelled like sewage and she dismissed us and said she didn't smell anything. Another guest said that they had just sent someone upstairs to his room to poor beech in the drain. By the way is extremely bad for the pipes.
