  • Mister Car Wash bought and rebranded the old Octopus car wash locations in Madison. I decided to give them a try because I was really tired of all the salt buildup on my car thanks to Old Man Winter! I wasn't disappointed, but wasn't impressed either. The location lists no prices or car wash options when you pull up; this creates a backup as everyone in their car is trying to decide on the services as an employee explains all the options to you. This is a little bit frustrating when you go to a business and have no idea what the options or prices are. Of course, they try to upsell you on the Platinum car wash. It helps if they give you a coupon for $10 discount, but I can't imagine really paying $30 for a car wash without the coupon. In my opinion, the only thing they have going is the location which is convenient for me on my way home. Otherwise, I'd be looking for a new car wash. As a side note, I checked their website this morning and they don't even list options and prices there, this resulted in a three star review going down to two stars.
