The national aviary is a wonderful ,and a beautiful place to display birds and protect the endangered. Penguin point was great, they all look so happy and are definately well taken care of! Although not a big space, I think it would be very difficult to have a bigger space with the amount of care that goes into taking care of these birds. Each area is amazing( wetlands, grasslands). Unlike zoos, they are not caged but freely flying around. The layout is a lot like the Phipps conservatory in Pittsburgh. I encourage everyone to go, nothing else like it!
