| - Had an morning flight out of Pearson Terminal 1, and picked up breakfast at Tim Horton's near gate F66. When I got there, the line was short and moved quickly.
I ordered the sausage, egg and cheese on English muffin combo which came with a hashbrown and medium hot drink. The total came out to $5.70. The wonderful thing about Tim's at the airport is that the prices are the same as that outside the airport - a big plus in my books.
The sandwich came warm, and the English muffin itself was nice, soft and moist. Sausage was slightly salty, but still good.
The hashbrown, however, wasn't crispy at all. I've ordered the hashbrown from Timmie's a few times, and it has always come out the same: soggy, mildly warm and consistently disappointing. The marketing pictures are deceiving - it unfortunately will not taste like a McDonald's hashbrown. On the plus side, it's not as oily as your typical McDonald's hashbrown.
I ordered a steeped tea double double for my drink. Your standard, consistent steeped tea.
Some table seating in the restaurant, but plenty of other seating options near the gates.
Overall, good value. Definitely one of the cheaper good options within the airport.
