| - I'm giving Bluephies a 4 because it was quick, easy, and delicious. I've been to Bluephies for apps/dinner, but have always wanted to try it for lunch. The first time I tried to go, there was over an hour wait, so I expected it to be much harder to get in today than it was. I called last night, and made a reservation for 2 at 11. Called again at 10:45 this morning and told them I'd actually have 3 and that we were running late, then got there and told them there'd actually be 4 of us- no problem, very accommodating.
We were seated right away when we got there, and we had a waitress training on her first day. She did a great job, and was really friendly. I almost NEVER choose sweet over savory, but I took a leap of faith and went with the bananas foster french toast, which was amazing. Between the 4 of us, we literally licked the plate clean. Two others had the eggs benedict, which I expected to be like every other eggs benedict, but the hollandaise sauce set it apart... it just had an extra burst of flavor. If you're looking for something meeting, this isn't it. There were only two thin slices of canadian bacon, but the hollandaise more than made up for it. Homefries were good, too. Our other friend had a bacon cheese burger, that tasted like a bacon cheeseburger.
Only reason they didn't get a 5 is because the menu didn't really excite me. I had the impression based on my other meal that they had a pretty unique menu, but I'm not really sure what I would order if I went back.
