| - I don't give one star unless it is truly deserved. In this case, it is completely justified. We had fraudulent activity on the main bank account we use and needed to have new cards shipped to us ASAP. My husband was going to be traveling and needed it before he left, so our bank shipped the new cards priority through FedEx. After the package didn't arrive on time, we called the bank because we were worried something was wrong. They gave us the tracking number and we called FedEx. Apparently, the driver had marked the package as non deliverable because the address was "incorrect." My husband confirmed that the address was correct and asked them to make sure to call us the next day if they were having trouble finding it because we really needed the package. The next day, the driver did the same thing. My husband called again. This happened three days in a row. Our address couldn't be easier to find. The numbers on the building are enormous and are visible from the main road. The apartment number on our door is also large and easy to see. UPS and the Post Office never have trouble finding us. We were amazed that we had called multiple times and made it very clear that we needed our package and the address existed, but the driver put in absolutely no effort to look for our home or call the number we asked him to call if he was having trouble. I wonder what would have happened if we never contacted them? They never made an effort to reach out to us to let us know something was wrong. Finally, I got a call saying I needed to provide a new address or my package would be shipped back to the sender. I immediately called and gave my office address. I was told the package would be delivered the next day. When the package never got delivered next day, I logged in to check the tracking. It was showing that my package was on its way back to the sender. I immediately called to ask what was happening and was told that my package couldn't be redirected without permission from the bank. Fair enough. That makes sense. But why didn't they call me to let me know? I could have called the bank and received their permission. They could have called the bank. Something could have been done. Instead, I was told that it was already on its way out and I would have to stop by within the next two hours to pick it up or else it would be sent back. I left my office early and drove 30 minutes out of my way to their shipping center to pick up my package. When I got there, I had to wait 45 minutes before being helped because there was only one person at the counter. The line of customers was going out the automatic doors and it was 110 degrees out. It was hot and nobody was happy. When I finally got helped, I showed my ID and gave the tracking number. The employee went back to the warehouse and came back 10 minutes later saying my package was already getting loaded onto a truck and they couldn't stop their whole process to get it for me. I asked to speak to a manager and he went to get her. I waited for another 10 minutes and he came out with my package. Finally! I'm thankful that he did what needed to be done to get it to me, but it was ridiculous how much it took. I will never use FedEx again and will ask anyone sending me a package to avoid them so that I don't have to go through this again.
