  • Aloha Specialties is located on the second floor of the California Hotel and Casino on Fremont. This is the place to eat if you're from Hawaii and missing some good local food like we were. Haha. The prices are pretty decent. I think I paid a little over $10 for a kalua pig plate (complete with rice and mac salad) and a musubi. It was super filling and I couldn't even finish half my food. I guess it's good that not everyone ordered food then. I just didn't understand why the line moved so slowly when all you do in line is order and pay for your food. They give you a number and deliver the food to your table. There's always a long line. There was a line throughout the time we were in line and eating.
