Thank you, Veggie Delight, for giving us non-meat eaters another solid option in Vegas! I was initially a bit skeptical based on the picture filled menu (sorry, folks, multiple bad resto experiences abroad taught me to stay away from pic-filled menus) and the small, cramped dining area (10 picnic tables tops), but decided to give this place a try based on heavy endorsements from my veggie/vegan friends in town. Man am I glad I went!
Food comes out as quickly as it's made so you will be disappointed if you're expecting a traditional sit-down. We ordered the spicy chicken sandwich (fantastic); the basil chicken (also delish); the pork-skin summer roll (while it was certainly good, the pork skin ratio to the rest of the innards was lacking -- would recommend more pork skin to balance this one out); and the ginger tea (both cold and hot -- FANTASTIC!). Now, I know what you're thinking: fake chicken and pork?? Does that actually taste good?? The answer: a resounding "YES," if it's made by the folks at Veggie Delight.
The best part: all the food above worked out to be about $10 pp!
If you haven't experienced the wonderful world of faux-meat, do yourself a favor and try Veggie Delight. You won't be disappointed!
