As an east-sider I was pretty unfamiliar with Honey Hut but had heard it praised for many years. I was in Parma for a class and decided I must stop and try. The sign said today's special flavor was Lemon Meringue pie, which sounded delightful. I got a medium (only $3!!). I had high hopes and was severely let down. It was totally bland with an artificial lemon flavor and very little amounts of graham cracker crust. It may have been real lemon flavor (there were large chunks of lemon zest), but it just didn't taste right. I'm a huggggge ice cream fan, but I actually threw out about half of this. I might try the honey pecan at some point, but not in a hurry.
