Fuji Yama's service is slow and at times they avoid serving you during busy times, it can get a little pricey and they expect you to tip (even when giving poor service). The food is satisfactory. The real downside is finding the place, which is hidden in a basement of a old historic building and doesn't provide a good view or much natural light into the dark restaurant.
What it comes down to is this: Fuji Yama's a reasonable quick fix when craving Japanese sushi down on 17th Ave but if looking for 5 star service you might want to look elsewhere.
