Home Appliance Services was sent by the warranty company to fix my dishwasher. On the first visit they diagnosed the problem and ordered some parts. It took about 2 weeks to hear back from them. On the second visit they replaced the part or parts and the dishwasher was still broken. Maybe a week later they sent a master technician to my house. He would not work on the dishwasher because he was not comfortable with the plumbing under the sink. A plumber came out that same day and told me the plumbing was fine. Home Appliance Services said they would not work on the dishwasher with the plumbing in its current configuration. A week or so later the warranty company sent out another plumber for a second opinion. The second plumber also said the plumbing was fine. They finally reluctantly came to work on the dishwasher warning me that I would be responsible for damages if there were any plumbing problems. After they held up the job for approximately 5 weeks with all of this the master technician returns with a new part. He said he did not have the right tools to do the job and would like to take the dishwasher to his shop. They picked up the dishwasher a day later and had it for about 2 weeks at the shop. About 2 months after this whole ordeal started my dishwasher is returned to my house and the master technician says everything is good. The next day I run 2 cycles for a total of 2.5 hours and the dishwasher is unable to even dissolve the soap. 90% of the cycle the dishwasher does nothing. I called Home Appliance Services and left a message 2 days in a row. They called me back today and told me they already closed the case and I need to contact the warranty company. I was very patient with them over the last 2 months. Finally, I confronted them about the whole situation and they hung up on me. When I call back they don't answer my calls. I am now back at square one with the same dishwasher problem I started with. They got 2 months worth of work out of the deal at the expense of my family being without a dishwasher. I eventually got through to a manager on the phone. The manager told me the dishwasher was working when the technician left and the warranty company will call in a second opinion. I believe, With him believing that the dishwasher works the warranty company isn't getting the correct information. The way my case was handled was unprofessional and not one person at Home Appliance Services had any sympathy or understanding to proceed with any sense of urgency to resolve my problem in a timely manner.
