One of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had. This place needs corporate to come in and show them the light. This is a terrible place to host a group event or special occasion. I reserved a group block for 10 people and was instructed to have my guests call in and ask for my specific party's name to buy their ticket to be seated in our group.
Almost everyone who called in was unable to buy a ticket as no one had any record of a group block under my party's name. I spoke to the manager (Dave) and explained the situation - I get it mistakes happen, no biggie and he assured me that moving forward we were good. The next day one of my guests again was told no group block existed.... Wait what? I spoke to Dave a second time and he apologized and told me to have this guest call back that night and he would make sure he was put into our block. Okay, I'm starting to see a pattern here but maybe it was just a bad day. Then, I was contacted by another guest - who couldn't book in my group!!!! I actually called and just bought her ticket myself since this was obviously an issue to coordinate.
On the night of the special event we were celebrating we arrived a few minutes before 7pm (show time). And we're told "we don't have seats together for all of you".... "Ummmmm, what? I reserved a group block". I was told that it was a "sold out show and that they release your space 15minutes before show time even if you purchase in advance" (which is what we did). How embarrassing - I had the birthday girl sitting with two people, one person sitting alone and everyone scattered about the theatre- absolute mess! On top of it the service staff was acting irritated at us and one guy was really rude to a couple members in my party when they were asking questions to understand what was happening and why we were getting separated.
THE WORST PART: my buddy Dave, the manager who was apologetic when there were issues while people were booking was kind enough to let me vent to him in the lobby (while I was missing the show) and then basically (without saying it) said we were not sitting together because my email confirmation had instructions to arrive early or they release your space ...hey, Dave the gal who set up my group block (incorrectly) never got my email address and I was never sent any confirmation - junk folders checked. Regardless, he was kind enough to offer to buy my group a round of drinks because everything was such a mess. The two people sitting with me were offered drinks and about 45mins later they had not come. I asked where their drinks were and the blonde gal in our section said she forgot and asked what they were having again, nice. We never got menus which sucked because some of my party didn't make it to dinner and were starving. I told the birthday girl to let her server know that Dave offered them a round of drinks for the issues we had- they told their server, who said he would check and he never came back for the entire evening. EPIC SERVICE FAILURE from start to finish.
Bret Ernst was the only reason we stayed- he was hilarious and the theatre/dining area is set up really cute fun blue votives in all the tables to match their color scheme. Too bad that none of us will be back to enjoy it or recommend this location.
