rev:text	These are the facts and not our opinions related to our families (3) appointments at Las Vegas Modern Dentistry. We scheduled an appointment for (3) family members as new patients. We responded to the $59.00 cleaning special.We arrived promptly at 2:30pm for our scheduled appointment and were surprised to see no one else in the waiting area.We were told that they stopped all other appointments for the day.We were asked to sign documents on an electronic keypad without seeing the actual documents,we were told "Dont worry you will receive copies of everything you are signing before you leave TODAY. (WE NEVER RECEIVED COPIES OF THE DOCUMENTS WE SIGNED). We all received x-rays and exams taking a total of approximately 2 hours. Keep in mind there were (5) employees and (2) dentists present.(one dentist was walking around in casual clothes) After our exams we waited patiently for about 30 minutes for the closer to come in and tell us that we did not qualify for the $59.00 special and we were quoted $539.00 and up for our cleaning.(as well as additional, recommended procedures) The process was reminiscent of a car salesman at a automotive dealership without the high pressure.When i declined she looked surprised. SHE THEN STATED THAT IF I COULD NOT AFFORD IT THEY WOULD CLEAN (1) QUADRANT OF MY TEETH AT A TIME AND I COULD BREAK THE CLEANING UP INTO (4) VISITS. THAT MEANS THEY WOULD GLADLY CLEAN 8 TEETH PER VISIT..STARTING IN THE BACK AND FINISHING IN THE FRONT. HAVE YOU EVER HEARD OF ANYTHING MORE ASININE IN YOUR LIFE ? By the way, I donate $500 a month to the Humane Society. My other family member elected to have the cleaning and a tooth extracted. When we asked about the cleaning we were told "the hygienist" was gone for the day, so none of our (3) family members received a teeth cleaning.(that was the reason we all took off work to come in together) At this point, we had been there a total of about 3.5 hours.The Dentist recommended not cleaning our teeth before the recommended procures because it could cause an infection if he were extracting a tooth.i asked the tech how long did they usually take for a teeth cleaning and she said 1.5 hours. Both my family members had teeth pulled and as we were leaving, i asked the doctor if it would be a good idea to write a prescription for antibiotics and he said yes and wrote the prescription for (1) family member and not the other. When i went to have the one prescription filled the pharmacist said we cant fill this because the DOCTOR forgot to put the strength on the script !!!!!!!!!! The next day the family member that did not receive the antibiotics developed a INFECTION with massive swelling the size of a softball on his face. (we have several pictures) We rushed him back to Las Vegas Modern Dentistry and the doctor acted as if nothing was wrong and said he would send him to HIS FRIEND who was a specialist. Upon arrival at the other dental office we were told that he would require emergency surgery to drain the infection and he would have to be a sleep during the procedure.(The cost would be $800.00). I asked the Manager at the EMERGENCY Surgical Center "Do you get a lot of referrals from LAS VEGAS MODERN DENTISTRY" and she smiled and said YES. In 24 hours (3) people went for a routine cleaning and not one of us received a cleaning. We ended up with one of us getting a massive infection and rushed into a $800 dollar surgery and last but not least never received a call from anyone to ask how he was doing.....My family member has been in bed for 3 days for having a single tooth pulled. This is the worst dental experience we have ever had. I would rate this doctors office a zero if i could. Please do not bring your loved ones to these people, They only care about the money.They lie about the $59.00 special to lure you in .We spent a total of 5 hours there and ended up in emergency surgery the next day. This is the worst Dentist i have ever been to in my life. i went to another Dentist today and was told they would be happy to clean my teeth at no charge. I did not accept the free cleaning and told the Doctor, i did not come in for free service, i came in for FAIR SERVICE.They stated that the $539.00 Teeth Cleaning quote from Las Vegas Modern Dentistry was unbelievable. IF THIS IS "LAS VEGAS MODERN DENTISTRY " FROM NOW ON I WILL GO TO "LAS VEGAS OLD FASHION DENTISTRY" THEY WILL BE HEARING FROM OUR ATTORNEY VERY SOON.
