The gym itself is fine. Definitely a weight lifters gym. They attempt to make upgrades, some of which are slightly tacky in my opinion. My issue is with customer service.
I've been going here since 2003 (minus my time away in the military). Shortly after renewing my contract January 2016, I found out I would be relocated for a year to Virginia for work. I paid my contact in full as I have for years. In March I asked the gentleman at the front desk about a partial refund and terminating my contract. He smirked and said I'll submit a claim to billing for you, but I'm pretty sure you won't get a refund. He mentioned it was in the fine print of my contract. Now, I understand why they have these clauses. A lot of people join and never use their membership. However I've been going here for years!! The gentleman was right. Billing never responded to the request he put in. Keeping my $100+ dollars is apparently more important than supporting loyal members and providing good customer service. Regardless of the "fine print", they could've easily gave me a partial refund. When I return to the area next summer, it's safe to say I won't be returning to Worlds Gym. I'll drive out of my way based on principle and poor business practices.
