  • The salon is nice and stylish. I had a deal certificate for a Brazilian Blowout by Rodney. He is very personable and friendly. But, there always seems to be a but, I had 2 issues (one of which was retracted after contacting the company of the product). First is that while doing the flat iron portion he burned my head. When I jumped forward and told him he had got me he stated it was just that he was close but didn't actually burn me it was just he was getting the roots and the heat of the iron probably made it feel like he got me, though he stated he never had anyone jump like that before. I wasn't upset, but I dislike being dismissed and the scab on the back of my neck the next day validated that he had in fact gave me a small burn. I've retracted the second issue. The information I was using was inaccurate and stated that a blowout took 3 days before washing and the length of time it took to complete treatment. When Rodney contacted me about the inaccuracy of the statement I contacted the company that makes the product he uses and verified that I did receive the blowout in accordance with their product and their aftercare. He also contacted me and did apologize for the burn after the review as well. Accidents happen, and that wasn't an issue overall when I wrote the review (the 2nd issue based on my misinformation was) and as that is the only complaint he is someone that knows his products and is very good at what he does.
