| - This is my last update, I promise. I just have a cool story to share. It's a great example of and shout out to their customer service and talent.
In the past few weeks, Riya's has become harder and harder to get appointments within the week you call. I came back from a 10-day vacation with two missing nails from my acrylic set. For my ladies who know, missing nails make you feel like a hot mess, no matter how fancy you dress yourself up. So, I called Riya's and they couldn't get me in for TWO WEEKS!
In an act of desperation, I used the Yelp app to find another place to get my nails done. The reviews were mostly about pedicures and gel manis, which should have been my first flag. Acrylic nails aren't easy. But I took a chance, brought an exact photo (from Riya's) of what I wanted and hoped for the best.
Welp, that was a mistake. I walked away with animal claws. My boyfriend's reaction word was, "gross" and I'm out $45 for a crappy result.
In another act of desperation, I walked in to Riya's the next day to see if they could squeeze me in to fix what the other salon had done. Kim (she's amazing) took time out of her lunch break to squeeze me in and make my nails beautiful again. It cost me only $15.
These girls are talented, thoughtful and WORTH THE WAIT. I have not found another place in CLE that has better artists than Riya's.
