I love local Pittsburgh beers and Full Pint does not disappoint. Shout out to the White Lightening which is my go to beer at restaurants (it is on draft at many Pittsburgh bars). I could not wait to take a trip out to the brewery and it is well worth the drive. The brewery is right off Route 30 Lincoln Highway but def. hidden. There is a small arrow on a telephone pole pointing where to turn off but this can be easily missed. The website is not super helpful (does not give hours, food menu) but they are trying to improve it. I recommend following them on Facebook for updates as the bartender told us they are trying new things to advertise. They just started Taco Monday and you can order $1 tacos. On weekdays they are open starting at 5pm and I believe noon on Saturdays (not open on Sundays). They just started serving food but do not serve on Mondays (except for the tacos) which I wished we had known before we drove out this Monday. The tap room is spacious with plenty of seats and seats at a small bar they have set up. You can sample any of their drafts and buy a full glass for $4-5. You can also buy and fill up growlers. I went with the White Lightening and my date tried the Festivus. We sampled their newest beer which will only be sold at the brewery until it runs out-the Paw Paw. It is a sour beer and my first time trying one-it was fantastic. We also tried Night of the Living Stout-super cool name but a little too dark for me. I can't wait to go back and try the food as it is made from scratch with fresh ingredients-they had flatbreads and appetizers on the menu. You can also rent out the place which I think would be fun for a birthday party.
