| - Anyone who knows me knows I'm pretty much obsessed with chocolate. So basically Lilly's handily won me as a customer just by their name alone. ;) They kept me, however, with their super awesome product.
This is some seriously good chocolate, y'all. Smooth, just the right amount of bitterness in the dark, and the milk isn't overly sweet as well. They have a variety of flavors including the PB Monster (milk chocolate, peanut butter, clover honey, feuilletine crunch, himalayan pink salt), Red Planet (dark chocolate, strawberries soaked in Syrah, black pepper red wine reduction, freeze dried raspberry powder--also vegan!), and my favorite--Sweet Cheeks (burnt salted caramel. dark chocolate). YUM!
Also neat? They indicate which beers or wines would pair nicely with each piece of chocolate and they also sell a variety of craft beers and wines in house as well (by the bottle, not by the glass). The staff here is REALLY nice as well. We found everyone we spoke to to be extremely pleasant and helpful. The chocolates definitely add up ($11 for a box of 6) but the quality is such that I don't mind the price tag. And also they're so rich that a little goes a long way so those chocolates are definitely going to last!
The space is really cute with a bit of seating if you wanted to have some chocolates in house. I also tried the drinking chocolate which was really good but I found the spices in there to be a little too much for me for a whole glass. My fella and I agreed that next time we'd probably split one.
