| - My family doesn't usually go to this location, and I have to say I was extremely disappointed with the service. Katie, with the blonde hair, was our server, and she definitely needs better training. In fact, much of your stuff just needs to be trained on basic teamwork as it relates to customer service.
We sat down 14 minutes prior to happy hour ending. A busboy promptly filled our water glasses soon after we sat down. But we never saw our server or even knew who our server was, until exactly 16 minutes later. We watched many other servers and bussers walk by our table, back and forth, MANY times, but no one ever made eye contact. So frustrating. We had all of our menus closed, sitting at the end of edge of the table within 5 minutes of being seated. Yet not a single person stopped to ask us if we needed anything, or if we needed our server. Common sense and the look of disbelief on our faces would clearly have shown that we were not being taken care of.
When the server finally showed up, she was polite. The lettuce wraps did not show up until the very end of our meal, and that's only because we finally had to ask about it (we would have asked our server earlier, but she would disappear for at least 5-10 minutes at a time, nowhere to be seen in the restaurant). She quickly blamed the kitchen, saying they are very slow on making that particular item. I've ordered that item at your other location dozens of times, and it usually comes out extremely quick. Everyone at our table doubted the story.
I think you need to meet with your staff, and teach them about basic teamwork. I was a server for several years in college, and you are taught that just because it may not be "your" table, doesn't mean you completely ignore the table and tune it out every time you walk past it. A little bit of common courtesy would go a long way.
