| - Amazing venue but filled with a few excessively rude bouncers they must get rid of to keep their reputation from sinking. Ive been to some of the best clubs around the world and last night was my first night at ncg for a halloween night out. First, when waiting in the line, something happened in front of us when a guy was getting his table checked, not sure exactly what it was but from what i heard he told the bouncer to Chillax. The bouncer got super violent and attacked the client. And two to three bouncers were escorting their whole group out in A VERY RUDE MANNER. Ok... none of my business but definitely woah.... Next, we had a great table at the vip section, got bracelets went to our table, partied, and by the end of the night my girlfriend and i decide to walk to another table at the vip section. Not knowing that the vip bracelet doesn't allow you to access the whole vip section, we were simply walking towards the other table when we got stopped by a bouncer. Rather than the bouncer politely telling us "you don't have access to this section", he makes it a huge scene and tell us to "turn around and leave". Of course I'm gonna ask why and i did and again with a very rude tone he told us "i deal with whores like you all fkn night long so get out", WOAH THERE. So i tell him that he doesn't have to have that toxic attitude towards everyone, i understand that he deals with drunk people all night, and he tells me to "shut up and move". BUT WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK??? (take into account my friend was completely sober since she was going to drive and i only had a drink). This is so unprofessional. NEW CITY GAS do you even train your bouncers about ethics, anger management and not abusing their power whenever they get the chance to? This bouncer was laughing at our ass with other guy friends of his when we turned around to leave and this whole thing made me cry. Ive never been so humiliated. Being super mad we talked to another bouncer and got the supervisor to come sort this out cause the whole rudeness was absolutely unnecessary. When the supervisor asked the bouncer what happened, he told him what he told us straight up and the supervisor didn't give him any shit for it in front of us, but told us that he will take care of this later( Thanks.) I truly hope he does because this is something no one should experience, especially when paying thousands of dollar for a table. The bouncer was a white guy in his 30s, wore glasses, short blonde hair, i think he was french Canadian, and was working on the second floor (the top terraces on the sides of the venue) around 2am on oct 28th (when looking from the stage to the back of the venue, its the right side).
Other than the bouncer issue, new city gas is super fun, packed when youre at the regular stage section but if youre into rave its amazing, and if not just a get a table and watch the show from the back. Its good vibes and would be perfect if it had professional bouncers.
