| - We came here one morning for some breakfast while we were in Toronto. We woke up pretty early and pretty hungry and knew that there was some good food in the same area that this place was in so that's where we went. Much to our dismay, we realized that most of the places here didn't open yet and wouldn't be open for another hour or so. But we did see that Kenny's Delight was open this early, so in we went.
Walking in, I did notice the decor and furniture looked pretty chic and modern. As for the food, we had ordered some of the stuff that we usually eat, like soy sauce yellow chow mein, elbow macaroni soup with spam and some stuff that we don't usually order, like pork blood congee and corn and tofu congee. I've never had corn and tofu congee before but it was alright. It tasted like how it sounds lol. I did like the pork blood congee though. The pork blood was silky smooth there, unlike at some places around here, which can be kinda rough tasting sometimes. The chow mein was pretty good too. I think it had the right amount of seasoning in it; better than at some other places I've had it. Only thing I wasn't content with was the macaroni; it just tasted too plain to me and the spam wasn't really the official SPAM brand. It felt like it was a knockoff.
Otherwise, much to my chagrin, Kenny's Delight was a delight.
