| - I am so impressed with Pearl Harbor ... Lissa is my artist. I was so nervous and she has a calm, cool, demeanor, which I happen to prefer as I tend to be excitable. I was open about what I needed - a rough estimate of how long it would take, and updates when we were half done, 20 minutes away from being done, etc.
Since my piece is large, I had to book a consultation, pay a deposit, and then booked appointments 2 weeks apart, including a follow-up for minor touch-ups. If you have a smaller piece, you'd go in for a drop-in appointment. Get there early; spots fill up quickly.
Back to Lissa's art - oh my. I wanted peonies, and when I was researching, came across her work and loved it. When I booked a consultation with her, she said she loved doing peonies, and I could tell. My tattoo took a total of 15 hours over 7 sessions.
If you like a more ebullient personality, Glynnie is your gal - I noticed she is very good with first-timers. If you like cool and quiet, Lissa is for you.
The atmosphere of Pearl Harbor is positive, quirky, clean, and calm. Great spot for tattoos.
