| - The brand new theater, slightly deeper in the mall, is easily the best movie theater I've seen. Pricier than average for incredible accommodations and you can pick your seats in advance.
Wow!! Remember in the movie Annie, when there's entire song and dance dedicated to going to the movies? The new location of this theater is a modern day version of that.
The chairs recline almost as much as a first class international flight seat, at the touch of a button. The seat aisles are wide beyond imagining to account for it, giving the feel of a boulevard stroll. Wide armrests make you forget you're not alone.
The screen is enormous and wraps so that even seats towards the sides feel centered. And the sound system will have you trembling when the music swells.
The entire place has a lavish, glamorous 50s feel. There's a bar, a concession, a gelato/dessert/small plate cafe, and more. I look forward to getting dressed up and arriving early to have a drink on their gorgeous outdoor patio before a film. Somehow, it also seems permissible to come in ratty sweats to enjoy the comfort of their recliners on a random afternoon.
The comfort, luxury and glamour make this pricier movie theater experience better than the comfort of home, which is saying a lot, coming from this cheap homebody.
