  • Zero stars for this McDonalds establishment. The so called management staff (Tina, Doreen) at 1525 W. Elliot Rd in Tempe exude a racist and prejudice mentality to African Americans. More specifically, my daughter was an employee at this location and experienced nothing but harsh treatment while working there. My daughter was pregnant, in her first few months. Tina the manager there made my daughter lift items over 15 pounds, refused her scheduled breaks and refused to allow her a drink of water. All this resulting in my daughter feeling light headed, dizzy and Tina acted like this was nothing. Tina also physically put her hands on my daughter causing my daughter to gasp for her breath. There were several witnesses employees and customers who saw this happen. I do plan on filing police charges against Tina for hitting my daughter. Also Tina wrote my daughter up and suspended my daughter for missed days; even so after Tina and McDonalds management was advised of my daughters doctor's appointments and she also had excused notes from the doctor. Today upon Tina telling my daughter she was fired; Tina refused to give back my daughters phone charger which was locked up in the managers drawer. This behavior was unacceptable on McDonalds management and Tina was responsible for getting my daughter terminated and there was absolutely no rational reason why; except for Tina being racist and prejudice toward my daughter. I am most certainly glad that my daughter is not employed by this McDonalds location. I will not ever pay another cent to this McDonalds corporation as they have treated my daughter whole heartedly with disrespect. I plan on taking this to a Corporate level and advising all who are above the chain of command in the McDonalds Corporation of the way that my daughter was treated while being employed here.
