We were going to Freemont Street and decided to park on their "free" parking. Getting the ticket validated was easier said than done. You had to find their players club, then find the right machine, then play for 50 "points" and nobody were able to tell me how much that is, possibly more than what I paid for the parking. The people we asked for help just made us feel stupid for being newcomers. When we left, we found that nobody got around to validate their parking.
As a comparison, the annoying $20 I ended up paying for parking was five times the cost of the airport short term parking. I.e. outragoeus. No wonder the parking was nearly empty. So this casino just made me with a sad feeling. I would have prefered to take a taxi downtown, or to pay a honest $20 to enter Freemont Street. There was no special event this night (none that I saw, just Zowie Bowie), not more people than usual.
