| - We currently live on the Mirabella side in a one bedroom apartment, and will be upgrading to the 3800 Lux side, 2 bedroom apartment this fall. The new management company has been great in truly upgrading and rehabilitating the community in many ways such as the pools, fire pits, new gas grills, new tv's, repainting parking spots, putting new maps up, fixing gates that didn't lock, etc. The pools and grills have been cleaned quite often, even though there are always a few tenants who don't take care of the facilities. The staff on the 3800 Lux side tends to be much more knowledgable, but all of the staff have good attitudes and are quite helpful most of the time. The maintenance crew have great attitudes and respond to requests both quickly and efficiently.
As far as cons, parking is the one and only major issue. If you are coming back at any time other than the middle of the day, you will have a VERY hard time finding a spot. If you can afford to get a garage, especially if there is one available near your apartment, do it. We are upgrading to another apartment on the 3800 Lux side that has its own garage, which will solve our one complaint. Also, sometimes the gates get stuck open, obviously removing the safety factor of it being a gated community. The only other small cons are that the coffee machines in the clubhouses are rarely stocked, and sometimes the office staff doesn't answer their phones or emails for the whole day.
Overall it is a very great community for the price point, and is in a safe and well accessible area.
