| - It was my first time here and my experience was so-so, bordering on nice.
First, the ramen. I ordered tonkotsu ramen, with extra noodles and black garlic oil on the side. At first glance, the bowl was aesthetically pleasing, and looking at it will make you hungry. The first thing I tasted was the stock. This stock was light and on the creamier side of pork bone soup. My only gripe with this is that the stock was a bit too light. All the toppings overpowered the broth and stood out too much. Any addition of the black garlic oil along with my second round of noodles overpowered the bowl completely. The noodles, however, were great: excellent bite out of the bowl, not too tough, not too soft. The noodles made much of the ramen eating experience.
Service was pretty nice. The lady at the front guided us to our seats and a young man took our orders. Our waters were refilled at a reasonable pace, food came out quick, and the staff was friendly.
If there was a half star option I'd give this a 3.5.
