I had two experiences here. The reason I'm rating a 3 Star is because the first experience was great! I went in to sell some of my Moms mismatched and old gold pieces. A difficult process as is and the gentleman that helped me was an older fellow. He was kind and fair. He did not pressure me and allowed me to keep the semi precious gem stones that were removed from the pieces. I was pleased with my experience so I returned a few weeks later to see about selling my Moms diamond engagement ring. I previously had it evaluated at DnR and MJ Christiansen, both of wish quoted me 500.00 for the resale value of the ring. I went in that second time with the ring and a few other gold pieces. This time I was helped by the Gemologist. This gentleman was arrogant, pushy and totally insensitive to the sentimental value of these pieces. He briefly inspected the diamond ring, weighed the gold pieces and offered me a lousy 150.00 for everything! I stood there stunned and told him that both DnR and MJ Christiansen quoted the value to be roughly 500.00, just for the ring! He looked at me and smirked saying the diamond was "brown" and he personally did not "like" the diamond. I was utterly appalled by his insensitivity, as I shared that these were my mother's pieces and this was difficult for me. He grabbed the ring and set it aside saying " I'll give you 80.00 for the gold pieces, this is not a lot of gold." I respectfully declined, collected my items and left. I will not return to this establishment as their so-called Gemologist was as rude and arrogant as they come. Seller beware.
