  • We first became familiar with Tahiti Village in 2006 when they tried to sell us a timeshare unit off the "World Famous Las Vegas Strip!!!" We stayed here a week in July 2016 while attending a basketball tournament at the Convention Center. 2nd place in a 16 team bracket. Okay off topic but still relevant in my opinion. Back to Tahiti Village. We exchanged into Tahiti Village so we only paid $50 a night for a $200+ per night condo. No complaints here! Friendly staff, good quality facilities. Smokeless environment. A free shuttle to Mirage Casino on the strip that runs every 30 minutes. Fun times at the swimming pool and Lazy River. Good bathrooms. An oasis for families and kids for sure. The two hour timeshare presentation was pleasant which we only agreed to do for the heavy discount for the Luau. Isn't vacationing important to you? Don't you want to stay at the best resorts when you go on vacation? Isn't $218 a month worth the memories? Since we already own a paid off timeshare, we will pass. But it's always interesting to be pitched a timeshare you don't need. Anyway...one star off for the average Luau that filled our tummies nonetheless. It was advertised as a 3 hour Luau from 7-10 pm on Sunday night. It ended at 8:45 pm. We were seated in the back, perhaps our fault for lining up at 6:50 pm. Food was okay. Rice was excellent! We'll definitely return if we need to stay a week in Vegas again in the future.
