I would give less than one star if I could. I have repeatedly been given the run around by office staff for simple requests. Most recently, when I was unable to get someone on the phone for more than a few seconds being asked to be placed on hold, I visited in person. Dr Wachs herself, who in previous visits had seemed pleasant, instead basically said she would no longer treat me. She seemed very frazzled and lost her composure. She said they were closing and she couldn't do anything for me. Yet I told her I had been calling all day. I was very uncomfortable with her and her staff telling me to leave and that I needed to seek treatment elsewhere when all I did was politely ask for them to fax something to my insurance. I felt a homophobic undertone because the drug I required approval for was Truvada. There's even a typed-up sign posted on the wall at check-in stating that they dont discriminate against certain groups of people, excluding sexual orientation. I thought that was strange.
