Buyer beware. The Las Vegas airport has a central location for most car rental companies and has a free shuttle from and to the airport. Fox Car Rental is located miles away in its own facility and charges a fee for its shuttle from and to the central location. Yes. That means two shuttle rides each way. We arrived there on June 21st to 114 degree weather with no shade to wait for the shuttle.
What does the shuttle fee cover? Because to my horror, we were not allowed on the shuttle for a few minutes because the driver had to fix the windows with duct tape. There were two broken windows covered with foam and duct tape. It took 50 minutes from stepping on the first shuttle and finally getting keys.
When I mentioned the broken windows, the response was Vegas is hot. Thanks.
