| - The Hyatt Regency already has an amazing reputation, but I feel like I should add to it as well! My family and I have been coming to the hotel every year for a birthday, and they never have failed to impress us. I'll try to break this down as best I can for what it's worth..
Rooms: We got the 2 King Suite, and it was flawless. Big beds, with tons of pillows. Our common area was dressed up to celebrate the birthday with champagne and different desserts made by the kitchen. Two mini fridges, basically everything you would hope for and expect was in the room. I love the AC unit, it's a digital display with easy instructions for use.
Pool: They have a GIANT area for all their guests to use. They have a kids beach area with toys for them to use. I will admit, I used the sand toys and I'm not ashamed lol. I honestly believe the pool is the 2nd best attribute to this place, followed by the food. Unfortunately this is why I didn't leave a 5 star review. Our pool side service was absolutely horrible. I understand if they're busy it would take awhile... but 20 minutes for a mojito and 35 minutes for a panini? Then the order came out wrong and we had to wait even longer. Drinks were watered down horribly, and the food was pretty bland for the pool side service.
Food: The resort has a couple of amazing places to eat... everything from sushi, to mexican-american, and upscale Italian food. We ate at the Italian joint and it was amazing. Great prices and generous portions. Just please remember this is an upscale restaurant, please don't show up in shorts and a tank top.
