We made a reservation via Yelp for dinner at 6:30PM on a Friday & noted that my wife is a vegetarian. Since I have never used Yelp for reservations, I made a follow up phone call to the restaurant on Friday afternoon to confirm our reservation & remind them that we need a vegetarian entree. The response was no problem as we have them on our menu. We ordered the only vegetarian dinner entree on the menu & were told that were all out of it at 6:30PM?. How is this even possible unless they never prepared any of it that day? The waiter advised us their chef can make an alternative dish. We had previously ordered spinach dip & tomatoes as appetizers. When are entrees were served, the alternative vegetarian entree was spinach dip over a bed of rice. Redundant, bland & unacceptably poor quality! When asked how we liked our dinner, we expressed our disappointment & they agreed to remove the charge for this entree & subsequently discounted the bottle of wine by half. The appetizers were mediocre, we had to ask for water refills & to top it off they could not validate our parking, no explanation was given but they either couldn't operate the machine or it was broken.
While the discounts were helpful, they did not mitigate a deeply flawed dining experience.
We noticed that most guest were not having dinner, just drinks & appetizers. Based on our experience this is a wise choice as this is definitely NOT a good place for dinner!
