Checking in at the front desk is the first impression a customer has about a hotel.
After waiting in line and handing over my ID and credit card, I needed to wait again because the person was answering calls and finding answers on the computer. Finally after looking for my reservation, I was told my room wouldn't be ready for 5 minutes and to have some coffee in the lobby until it was ready. I waited for an hour in a lobby that is not large and was not continuously busy. Average number of people in the lobby when people weren't checking was 4 including myself (the other 3 were passing room keys for a sports team). Also witnessed a customer asking for toilet paper in the women's restroom among other things (I was there the entire time). Finally went up to front desk asking for a honest answer how much more time before my room would be ready. I was then told that I should have come back in line again. With the size of the lobby not much larger than most people living room, I was flabbergasted by that reply.
Front desk service: D- / F
Everything else: just won't be up to par after a lousy start.
Cannot recommend this hotel and would definitely not be returning.
