We went to the Merrell outlet last weekend for their July 4th weekend sale(buy one pair get 50% off a second pair). My wife had to exchange a pair today and at first the cashier said there is a $7 difference since we had it on sale last weekend. After reminding the cashier that it was an exchange due to a defect, their was no charge for the exchange. I have to wonder if this is a business practice they get away with when customers do not know? While they do have a large selection of Merell shoes and boots, one of the reasons for a lower rating is because as an Outlet store if their 4th of July sale only saved us $7 on two pairs, I am amazed that is the only difference.
