  • Don't go here!! I saw Christy for a foot scrub and foot massage. Instead of a foot massage, she elected to give me a ten minute "neck massage" during which she decided to pretend to be a chiropractor. I thought I would also receive the foot massage I asked for afterwards, but I did not. She quickly pulled my head far to the right and and left, causing several subluxations in my neck vertebrae. I have a very delicate neck due to a genetic disorder causing weak ligaments. In theory she was trying to stretch my neck muscles, but quick movement does not stretch muscles. Instead it causes them to tighten more and risks tearing muscles and ligaments. The rest of the "massage" was equally painful. She did not remove any muscle knots in my neck and shoulders, just poked them hard for one second to really wake up the pain. I asked her to please focus on my shoulders more, which she completely ignored. Now I am experiencing extreme neck and head pain days later even in my neck brace. I have increased back/neck muscle tension and spasming, and my doctor has told me to be alert for neurological symptoms. For these ten minutes, she charged me for a 30 min massage. She neglected to give me the extra 30 minutes of foot massage I asked for. I highly doubt this woman is properly certified. If she was trained, her massage should have been pain reducing, not damaging and painful in the way that it was. She would know that muscle knots need more than one second of pressure. She does not understand the physical properties of muscles and their knots, and how to release them using heat and pressure. I do not believe she is trained as a chiropractor. She will not give you any warning before she yanks on your body/head. She does not understand the difference between a subluxation and cracking a joint. She's happy to hear any sound from a joint. Don't go here. You will leave in much worse pain. She even told me during the foot scrub that she has many clients who say they will come back regularly but then they never come back. This is why!! She hurts her clients! Stay away!! Update: the company called and refunded my money, so at least there's that. After about a week the pain stopped.
