  • Via Brasil is a carnivore's dream. Like other Brazilian steakhouses, you'll get plenty of cuts of meat from cows, chicken, lamb and more. I've driven by countless times but failed to visit until recently. Located at the corner of Charleston and Ft. Apache, the outside looks impressive, but the interior is even more so. It's large, open, and elegantly decorated. If you want all-you-can-eat meat, there are two options. "Prime" is $39.99 and includes many basic items like garlic steak, BBQ baby back ribs, chicken breasts, drumsticks, flank steak, pork, and sausage. The higher end option is the "Sterling" for $49.99, which includes everything in the Prime option plus NY steak, lamb chops, leg of lamb, filet wrapped in bacon, salmon, and rib eye. My favorites were the lamb chops, filet in bacon, grilled shrimp, trip-tip, and short ribs. For those that only want the salad bar, you can get that for $24.99. The salad bar has an impressive array of hot and cold dishes, although some turned out to be not so great. The beef carpaccio was under seasoned. Curry mussels were spicy and also felt gritty. The lobster bisque was creamy with rich flavors. For dessert the creme brûlée was textbook perfect with a thick layer of sugar coating the top and creamy custard underneath. It is a bit pricey (for two adults and one kid we spent well over $200), but if you're fond of Brazilian steakhouses, this one should be on your list.
