I came here with a friend on a busy night. All in all, we thought the food was fantastic and the staff was super friendly. We split a camembert cheese dip appetizer and a chicken linguine entree. Then we bought a few pastries. We left with full bellies and happy taste buds. I would go there again in a heartbeat.
The owner came out at one point to ask how our meal was. We asked him about the women on the walls near the bar. He informed us that he was a fashion photographer in France and that those were his photos. I know in other reviews, some have slammed the decor as cheap, like Urban Outfitter prints or photos from IKEA. Evidently, they're his photos, and I happened to think the interior was quite nice.
Overall, we had a great experience, and I'm much happier knowing Scratch moved into an unused space in downtown originally occupied by abandoned shacks.
