  • I finally found a great Dermatologist...but I'm actually most thrilled about the fact I found a Dermatologist that works in conjunction with an Allergist...who are both on staff at The same place! For years I went to 2 separate disciplines and both pointed at one another when trying to help me address the root cause of my skin issues. If you've ever had a complex medical condition-- you know how frustrating this can be! The never ending circle of no answers feels endless! Finally, I found MaryJo and her girls: Katie, Taylor & Jeanette who are working to nail down all the things triggering my eczema. This team of ladies are so kind and on top of their game--it's refreshing!! To date I've done blood work and had a skin test! Next up: chemical patching! When all is said and done, I hope to know exactly what to stay away from with respect to chemicals, foods and elements in our environment --as well as what to do to treat them. The best part--if my eczema flares, I have an allergist with my record on hand that can walk 5 ft. down the hall and talk with my Dermatologist in order to consult and work on a collaborative plan of care! Transforming healthcare is finally happening and it's exciting!!
