  • I came here because it was highly recommended by a friend, this did not disappoint! I wasn't really sure what a pasty was until I looked at pictures and read about it. It's similar to an empanadas and you can choose your choice of filling and it's baked inside! When we first came to this location we were a bit confused on the location, it's actually off to the side of this plaza and it's pretty dark inside, so you always have this pub/bar feel to this place. Service was a bit slow due to only having one server working but who really eats at 2pm, right? Well I guess we do! I got the chicken pesto pasty and let me just say I was amazed by how good it was. I was able to taste the pesto, the chicken was moist and it was incredibly cheesy inside! What a great combo right!? I loved every morsel of this, I was actually kind of sad when I finished because I wanted another one but was too full to eat another. My bf got the roast beef pasty and he loved it as well, it had a nice peppery flavor to the beef and the cheese went so well with it. Meat and cheese are two awesome combos! In the future, when I'm back in Phoenix I'll definitely be back here for more tasty pasty! Total for 2: $35
