  • Needless to say, getting a haircut at a barber is completely different from a salon! I like paying less than $20 for a haircut and am always amazed at how fast they are. The lack of frills at a barber shop like Selwyn's is comical. They move so fast sometimes I can't tell if they're cutting hair or chopping wood! But the best thing about barbers is that when your usual salons are fully booked for a month you can just walk in and immediately get a haircut. Especially for men, if you communicate what you want up front I'd wager you'll get as good a haircut as any salon. I've been here several times and I really like Jodi. The new guy's doing a great job too.
