I brought my kids here a couple of years ago and thought that Dr Shlack was a bit harsh with the "bed side manners" then. I had a situation today, and it was after 5, so I thought I would give them another chance. The girl at the front desk was rude and very impatient with everyone that came to the desk. The triage nurse was nice but talked in a whisper so I kept having to ask him "what"? Then Dr Shlack came in. The first question he asked was what my profession is...which I thought was odd since it's on all of my paperwork...then he asked what brought me in to which I told him. He recommended a treatment to which I had a question. I asked the question and he responded " I'm not here to sell you on it". All I needed was more info since previous issues with a similar treatment resulted in cautionary curiosity. He was rude and pretentious ...he was a couple of years ago and is still so today. He makes patients (at least me and both of my kids) feel bad for asking questions. Last time I checked, it's my body and if I have questions, I should be able to safely ask without being treated disrespectfully. If you have a cough or just want drugs and aren't really concerned about your health and wellness - come here...but don't ask any questions unless you want to be insulted. I am never coming back here. I have given them 2nd and 3rd chances only to be proven that I was right all along. People are entitled to bad days - but sick or injured people need sympathy and compassion not to be treated rudely or felt judged. I'm sure he's a decent Dr, but no where good enough to be THAT arrogant. I didn't want drugs. I wanted to make sure I was ok ...and I left unsure. I will go to my Dr tomorrow. Bad...just bad.
