Had a very sick child called to ask about wait times and got the rudest, most uncaring receptionist. When we arrived at the clinic I met that person face to face. She didn't say hello, no smile, no welcome. With a nasty tone she told me to sign in at the kiosk and fill out paperwork. I filled out paperwork, handed it in and told her that a smile and a pleasant tone would go a long way to make the experience here better for everyone. The rudeness is pervasive here however. We got called back and met the crabbiest nurse ever. She didn't ask how we were doing. Very rote and rude like everyone in the place was pissed off for some reason. I told the doctor's assistant that my daughter needed an IV as she has been vomiting for three days. She was so weak she could barely walk. They were reluctant to give her an IV. Only later did I realize they didn't know how. Once they agreed to do an IV. The PA proceeded to tell my young daughter how painful it was going to be. I've never seen such a bloodbath. The needle went in and tons of blood shot out. They try to tell me that was normal but as someone who visits a phlebotomist regularly I know that is a bad IV. I would STRONGLY recommend you NOT come here. Bad bedside manners, heck bad banners all around. A smile is easy and free and goes a long way at making people feel better.
