  • I grew up in Pickering and spent my teenage years researching within the walls of this library. The layout is self explanatory which makes it easy to pick up those books the night before your essay is due. If you opt to procrastinate, there is a wide DVD and Blu-Ray section. I haven't seen such a huge section at any Toronto Public Library location. The library also uses a self check out system that has been in place for over a decade now. This makes borrowing those Harlequin romance novels a far less embarrassing experience.
