The only think colossal about my experience here was my disappointment with my cupcakes. I wouldn't say that I am a devoted cupcake connoisseur but I have tasted the spectrum of the cupcake world - from store purchased mixes to the upscale Hollywood style of the Sprinkles brand and everywhere in between. Cleveland has numerous decent cupcake joints but this is definitely not one of the places I'd recommend.
I ordered a 'chocolate covered strawberry' and a 'red velvet'. Both made me sad. The strawberry one actually had the texture and taste of a store-bought cake mixture and was dry and poorly flavored. My red velvet was even more disappointing. Red velvet is the cupcake style that I judge all cupcakes by. If you make a crappy red velvet then you won't get a return visit. Simple as that. The cream cheese frosting on it was extremely tart and off-putting.
I definitely didn't enjoy anything about these cupcakes. They were overpriced, yucky, and didn't even look appetizing. Parking sucked on Euclid too so the visit felt like a huge waste of time and money. I'd recommend Grandma Freda's (yummy!!) over this any day!!
