I went to this hospital screaming in pain and they were extremely rude to me. The waiting time was extremely long. I was the only one in there at 4 am and they made me wait an hour to go back, even though I was laying across all the chairs screaming and crying in pain from my stomach. When I asked how much longer it would be after 45 minutes they told me that other people had more issues than I did.
They gave me an inexperienced person to do my IV. This was while I was screaming in pain already because my stomach was in an ample amount of pain. After I had told the man who put in the IV that it was very painful he pushed the IV in harder. I was crying when he pushed it in harder and he continued to do it. He then began to tell me that it was fine and that I was fine. He said "oh I might have hit artery" like that was no big deal. Please have workers know what they are doing with IVs, especially when patients come in with serious problems.
