| - So a friend and I walked in around 8, just wanting a couple slices of pie. We waited for around 15 minutes to be seated with two people in front of us. After they were seated we were quick to follow. They seated us and the host let us know that our normal server was with a large party. We said that it was okay, and that we were just getting desert. A server came over and got us water, and then our host came back over to let us know that she was going to take care of us because our server was too busy. She left for two minutes, came back and took our order. When we were halfway through the slices of pie, (five minutes)the host came back and said that our server Victoria was so busy, that she couldn't take care of us. That she(our host) wanted to leave, and, "If you could just pay me right now, so I can go." She put the check on the table and stood there waiting for us to pay.
We were nowhere near done. My friend and I paid, she took the money, came back, and left no receipt.
Now, if they were slammed I could understand. But it was 8:30 on a Friday night, and it was dead. And she was rushing us out. As we walked out of the restaurant we waved at her, and she just looked away.
I would like to take at least 20 minutes to enjoy my friends company and eat my dessert. But, apparently that's not allowed here.
If you are met by woman in her mid thirties, black hair, small hand tattoo, and glasses; I would recommend not expecting the best service. She was superficially nice but rushed us out and didn't even leave us with the receipt.
