| - I have been meaning to write these folks a review for a few years now and now is the time.
Ginger is the hostess with the mostest. She's like the aunt you love to see and would want to take out for coffee and a snack just to chat. She was there the first time I visited this store several years ago and I was pleased to see here there again yesterday when I walked through the front door.
The first words I said after our greeting to one another were "I remember you had a dog here the last time I came in and she was really sweet." After she quizzed me to see if I remembered what the dog looked like (which I passed, btw), she decided it was in fact her dog I met, MOLLY, and proceeded to take her out from her crate from the back.
I love Molly, I swear she recognized me.
After a few moments to play and love on Molly, and the realization my cousin and husband were outside waiting for me in the car, I had to focus on my mission and get to the shopping.
I love their soaps here but ran out a little while back. I still have some of their lotion left but I really enjoyed their bar soap and the scents are excellent. Most importantly, they use goat's milk to make everything so if naturally moisturizers and
goat's milk is very high in vitamins. Vitamins, minerals, proteins, and lactic acid, to be more specific. Lactic acid has been known to help remove dead skin cells and soften your skin, making goat's milk a natural exfoliant. That's pretty pimp if you ask me. Plus they smell fantastic.
I personally love the
...Lavender Oatmeal
....Midnight Cowgirl (it's not what you think)
...Insect Repellent soap-it serves its purpose and does the trick for those that may go camping or planning to spend the day outdoors but know they get bitten often.
...Oatmeal Milk & Honey
I witnessed several men come in while I was here and buy bar soaps and lotions for their wives and girlfriends as if it was a normal errands on their agenda. She's got a great location. Even though they are a part of a little touristy type part of Cave Creek, they are closest to the main road and you can legit park in front, run in, get your stuff and go. It's a nice set up!
I understand they just celebrated 19 years in business and have been at this particular location for about 8 years if I recall correctly. This speaks volumes to me about a small business!!!!!! Check out their website to order yourself some of their amazing products and try their nude lip balm which I'm addicted to: www.udderdelight.com
Plus if you're ever in the area stop by and use the Yelp Check In free bar of soap offer, but definitely order some for yourself to try. You won't be sorry!!
